Finally Back Home Again

Hey Folks!

Today marks day two of my time in Korea!!! I am unbelievably excited to be here. It's been really crazy being back. On one hand, I am in complete disbelief that I'm back here after waiting for what seemed like an eternity, but on the other hand, it feels so normal to be here...it feels like I've picked right back up where I left off. I must admit, that is an amazing feeling. It honestly feels like I've finally come back home to where my heart is.

As for some specific things have happened, when I arrived at the airport in Seoul, Grace, who I wrote about a lot last year, was there to meet me!!! It was a total surprise and I'm not going to lie, it was pretty epic. Then I found out that she had been preparing a place for me to stay in her apartment. There was a lot of love going on! So I'm living in an apartment with Grace, 4 other girls, and a teacher from the school.

Yesterday was our first day at school, and it was phenominal! I got to see so many people from last year, including Jade. I wrote about her a lot last year. She is honestly one of my most favorite people in the world. I actually forgot just how special she is to me and how much I love her. It's been amazing getting to be with her the past few days and catch up with her. It's also been really awesome to see all the students from last year. They have been so excited to see me and act like it's the greatest thing in the world that I came back. It's been a very humbling thing to experience the love that they've poured out on me already. There are also a lot of new students that I've met and been able to connect with. I'm really excited about that!

As for my team, they are AMAZING! I cannot believe how blessed this team is. We get along SO well. We connected instantly and get along incredibly well. We have 6 girls and 4 guys. It is such a God thing that we are all together. Everybody has an awesome story of how they came to the decision to come to Korea and how they got their money for the trip. It is such a God orchestrated thing that 10 people all get along really well. As the leader, I have been so proud to watch this group work together and to see them already fall in love with the students here. I can't believe how focused they are and how intentional they are with the students. It's been a blessing to be a part of this team. I truly believe God is going to do some amazing things through this team for His kingdom. I can't wait to see what happens!

As for prayer requests, please pray that the students here will continue to open up to us and that we will see the needs around us. Pray that our team continues to work in unity. Pray that we will have opportunites to share the Gospel. Please pray that God will give me the wisdom and discernment to lead this group, along with the other team leader, Jennifer, while also having a ministry with the students.
